Heat Blast Continues! Major and Extreme HeatRisk Continues 0-12 Hour Forecast 12 to 24-Hour Forecast Daily Climate Data

Heat indices of 100 to 109 degrees, actual low temperatures near or above 75 degrees each day through Friday, and humid conditions will keep us in sauna-like conditions. This week`s heat wave will peak for some locations Tuesday where the greatest expanse of mid-90s is expected across central Indiana, with lighter southwest breezes. There may be brief, scattered afternoon showers and maybe an isolated thunderstorm. Hoosiers are reminded to drink plenty of fluids, stay in air-conditioning when possible, limit time outside, stay out of the sun, and check on relatives and neighbors.
