| Thunderstorms in a cluster over parts of Eastern IL will clip far NW parts of Central Indiana (near and west of Lafayette) over the next few hours. Additional TS are expected to develop along a surface boundary through Eastern IL down to near I-70 through 9 pm. Isolated TS may develop in southern portions of Central Indiana along a warm front between 7 and 9 pm and may affect the Indy Metro area after 9 pm. All thunderstorms will be capable of large hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes. A tornado watch remains in effect for portions of Central Indiana. Localized flooding will remain possible for any areas of longer-lived heavy rainfall. #inwx |
