...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Indiana...

White River at Noblesville, below Eagle Valley Power Plant, near
Centerton,   Ravenswood, Newberry, Edwardsport, and Elliston.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

Eel River at Bowling Green.

White River near Nora, Spencer, Hazleton, and Petersburg.

.Widespread and significant flooding is in progress. Total rainfall
amounts of four to seven inches has fallen over the past several
days.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...White River below Eagle Valley Power Plant.

* WHEN...Until early Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 610.0 feet, Flood waters cover the flood plain along
SR 39 connecting SRs 37 and 67 just southwest of Martinsville.
Flooding causes the evacuation of a few people and damages Blue
Bluff Road near IPL Power Plant.  Local river roads are impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- There is no current observed data.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 609.5
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 603.0 feet.

- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 11:30 PM EDT Saturday was 22.1 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 24.7
feet Monday morning.
- Flood stage is 14.0 feet.

ending at 11:00 PM EDT Saturday was 17.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.8
feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

ending at 9:30 PM EDT Saturday was 20.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 20.8
feet late this evening. It will then fall below flood stage
tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 15.0 feet.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of central, south central, and west central
Indiana, including the following counties, in central Indiana,
Bartholomew, Decatur, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan,
Rush and Shelby. In south central Indiana, Brown and Monroe. In
west central Indiana, Clay, Owen, Parke, Putnam, Vermillion and
Vigo.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying
and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads
remain closed due to flooding. Streams continue to rise due to
excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Local media have reported
water rescues.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 855 PM EDT, gauge reports indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned
area. Between 2 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in
the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Indianapolis, Bloomington, Terre Haute, Columbus,
Shelbyville, Fishers, Greenwood, Lawrence, Plainfield,
Franklin, Brownsburg, Greenfield, Beech Grove, Martinsville,
Speedway, Greensburg, Greencastle, Mooresville, Danville and
Brazil.

Information:
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Stay away or be swept away. River banks and culverts can become
unstable and unsafe.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.

southeast, southwest, and west central Indiana, including the
following counties, in central Indiana, Boone, Decatur, Hamilton,
Hancock, Hendricks, Madison, Marion, Morgan and Rush. In east
central Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. In south central
Indiana, Brown, Jackson, Lawrence and Monroe. In southeast
Indiana, Jennings. In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox,

* WHEN...Until 8 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Extensive
street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.
Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more
heavy rain.

- Radar is estimating around 4 inches of rain has fallen in the
last 24 hours.
